I am on h1 - b visa

my question

if my company tells me verbally that your service terminated, should i have to leave u.s.a. ??

If they cancel my visa, should i wait till i get letter from u.s.c.i.s.

What benefit i should get if they cancel my visa ?

Termination has to be written. If you can find another employer you should be able to transfer your valid H1 petition to the new employer, you should fiel the transfer and get receipt before your last working day in order to avoid being out of status.

If you cannot find another employer to transfer your H1 you should leave US and the current employer should provide you return ticket back to your home country. If they refuse you can complain to the DOL.
