How to track H4

Hello,

My wife attended her H4 interview yesterday at the Hyderabad consulate. The VO asked only 2 questions and said thank you and kept her passport.
Now, I have no idea what the status is. I only have the MRV receipt number but not the USCIS/EAC receipt number. How do I know what the receipt number is ?
And how can we track what the status is ? I sent an email to '[email protected]' with the pp no. in subject line, but it replied saying : There is no status update available for the passport number submitted.
Can someone please tell me how I can know what the status is ?

For others in similar situation, I called the state travel org call center for this, nevertheless, we just had to wait for a day and a half from the day of interview, and we had the passport in hand with the approved visa.
