H1 transfer question

Hi,
I am on H1 with company A and it stamped and currently in US working for company A. If i get new offer from company B in US and they transfer the H1 immediatly,

(i) do i have to immediatlely join company B (or) can be after my notice period in company A?
(ii)Can i stick to company A, if i want?
(iii)If i go to india for vacation(before Company A stamp expires), do i need to go for stamping with company B petition?
