    H4 to H1 and stamping

    Hi My status is transferred from L2 to H4, now I am on H4 status in USA(with L2 visa stamped in passport). I will be applying for H1 visa in April. Say I get it approved in May. Now I am planning to travel to India in June and July. So I need to go for stamping of H4 visa, will that affect my H1b approval?

    More info, this H4 visa is as dependant on H1b visa

      You should not do that, that will create unnecessary confusion regarding your status. If you have to travel, get an H1 Visa and return on or after Oct 1 in H1 status.
