Complete L1 and fresh H1 with year gap in home country.

Hello,

I completed 5 years in L1B and exited USA in September 2012, if I file for H1B in April 2013, How many years of H1 will i get?

Since fresh H1 are from month of October, and I am here in my home country for 1 year, will h1 be not for 6 years?

NO. The H1 petition has to filed after 1 year completion not during.
