  • Applying H4 when H1 is less than 4 months

    Hi
I'm in H1b and its is my first entry, its been 8 months since i came to US and the visa has been given for 2 years, my
visa is expiring on September 2013, I was thinking to apply for my wife dependent visa(H4) by may 2013, will it be a problem getting the dependent visa as my visa is expiring by september 2013, although i'm going to apply for extension.

As there are only 4 months left in my visa by the time i'm applying, will it cause any problems

    cheers
    kay

      Hi
      thanks for responding..

one more query.. i saw in uscis.. that i can apply for extension 6 months before my visa expiry.... if i process my extension
in premium now itself.. will it raise any eye brows.. because i'm thinking to go to mexico or canada and get a stamping.. in june
while i have my present stamping till sep2013.. is that possible
