OPT stem will get H1B from non-everify company

Currently, I'm OPT-stem. It will expire this June. The company I work for a part-time will apply H1B for me. Can I apply for a cap gap and start working right now or I need to wait until my OPT end, or get H1B.

If the H1B petition is not enrolled in EVerify, you will have to wait until Oct 1 to start working for them.
