  • Question on H1B transfer

I have recently joined company A but due to budget issues during last quarter my project is not yet started, so i didn't move to the project location where my LCA is posted.
It may take few weeks to start the project. Till then i will stay at my home in different state. My employer is paying the salary till now and the state tax is deducted as per the state rules where the LCA is posted. But the payslip has employee address has my current home address which is in a different state. My question is if i get a new job and and initiate the transfer i have to provide the two recent pay stubs to USCIS. Since the address is different than the state where wages are deducted in the pay slip will it cause any problem during H1 transfer even though i am getting paid and maintains a valid status. Please clarify me.

As long as the state (LCA) taxes are paid, you should be safe. Dont worry just go ahead.
This is my opinion. Not a legal advice
