Hi, I am new to this site and am not sure if this question was asked before,apologies if it is a repeated question
I applied for H1 Visa in 2008 how ever i did not did any follow up as i had canceled my intention to visit USA for some personal emergencies , i don't have any documents related to this now ,i tried reaching my earlier sponsor to have 1 797 by am not getting any response after repeated tries
I checked USCIS today and it shows the status as Post Decision Activity
"On xxxx xx , 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER" with expiration date as 30 June 2012
Now my employer in India (also has office in USA) wants to apply for H1 this year (2013)
1 Will there be a problem as i don't have any documents of earlier processing , i only have receipt number
2 Can I by any chance use this receipt number and go for stamping directly
3 Do i need to file a fresh petition for H1 again
4 Will lottery system be applicable to me
5 If my fresh 1129 is approved , during consulate interview , will consular enquire question related to this
Any suggestions/clarifications on the above are truly appreciated
