Hello,
My wife has applied for COS from H-1B to H4 (based on my H-1B).
She has received the receipt number from USCIS today(13/MAR/2013). However, the official receipt notice (I-797) will be delivered by post in another 7-10 days.
While checking her case status on USCIS website returns this message "Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283"
Can she resign right now or should she wait till the official receipt notice (I-797) is delivered to her by post?
Your responses or similar experiences would be highly appreciated.
