H4 stamping in Chennai -- Pls help me

Hello All,

My wife will be attending her h4 visa interview and could any one please help me in validating the check list below.

Regarding I 797, I 129, LCA, Do we have to have all the previous copies or the current copies of all these documents would good enough?? Please direct me..

Hey,

The way you have listed everything so well, I could make out how much you are tensed about this interview. First of all, your wife would be with you in US pretty soon.

Nothing to worry and you have listed out pretty much everything and are good to go. One final thing, which I wanted to ask you, if you are already working in US, do send your W2 copy and the filing confirmation, just to make sure you are 100% covered.

To be honest, they would not dig in much for H4 dependent. When my wife went for H4 stampping in Chennai, she was asked only three questions:

1. Which Company is your husband working?
2. What is his date of Birth?
3. Is he a good cook ?

Third question was the highlight, so relax and chill. They did not ask or see any other documents, which we carried. So you have everything in place and good to go.

I came over here very recently and do not have w2 filed for me yet. So, the Plan is to have 3 month pay slips to attend h4 visa

What are the documents do we have to carry for OFC (prior to PAI at consulate) ?

Do we have to have all the previous copies of my I 797, I 129 and LCA or Is that enough to have my current copies?

Passport Copies

Do I have to send all the pages (empty pages) of my passport or Is that enough to send only printed/stamped pages of my passport? Please help me.
