L1 to h1 transfer process

Hello ,

L1 to H1 transfer can Possible with Unused H1b ?
Below is my Case

1) Working with Company 'A' on L1 from Feb 2009 to till date.
2) Company 'B' Applied H1b for me on April 2011
3) While still my H1B approval Under Process I went back to India on April 25 20ll
4) Meanwhile my H1B got approved when I am at India
5) However I Came to US on Sept 2011 with my New L1 visa stamping through Company 'A' only

Now is it possible to Use my Unused H1b visa to transfer to Company 'C' with change of Status.

Please let me know the Possibilities.

Yes it is possible. You need to give C copy of your H1 approval notice and their lawyers should be able to file a COS for you. Remember you would get H1 only for 6 years minus time already spent in L1 status.

I am not sure Employer Who filled my H1b with COS or Consular Process.
Is that matter , or any case I can still transfer my unused H1b to Another Company ?
