Can one have an application for both H4 and H1b
Hi, I am a postdoc and now changing my status from J1 to H1b (I do not have 2 year home residency requirement)
My wife is currently working on J2 (with employment authorization).
Since I am applying for H1b, I also apply for H4 for my dependents.
But since my wife would like to continue to work she would like to apply for H1b (academic, so no quote limit).
Is it possible to have an application for both H4 and H1b? And if not what would you suggest?
