H1 Expiring on 31st May 2013, Can I travel back before 31st with approved Petition ?

Hi,

I need to travel to India urgently. I've filed renewal petition in Premium Processing on 2nd May 2013, but yet to hear back from the USCIS.

Because of urgent work requirements at Client's Location, I'm having to comeback on 28th May 2013 and my Visa(H1B) expires on 31st May 2013.
My doubts are,
1. will I be allowed to enter USA on 28th May without any issues if my petition is approved and I've the soft copy of it?
2. How long does it take to receive the Approved Petition Hard Copy once it is approved?

Please advice.

You will need to have the approval in hand. A photocopy or scanned copy may work, but at least that should be with you.
USCIS makes a decision within 15 days of receipt date, unless an RFE is sent.
