got pink slip

myself, my husband and son went for visa interview on april4th.. the american person just asked the client details to my husband.. then they gave a pink slip told us to go to counter31 where the indian lady asked several questions like my husband's height, siblings etc..
now its 6 weeks still the status shows "pending process"..
plz friends help me on this..
