how long does it take for h1b petition ........

My consultant has filed for my H1B on june23. I got my reference number by june last week, but I am yet to get the approval. Can anyone tell me , on an average how long does it take to get the petition approved?

You can check the status of your petition with this receipt no. on the uscis.gov site Or you can contact your Co./Attorney in the US who filed for you and ask them to update you on the status.
