  • H1B Consular Stamping Documents question -INDIA

    Hi,
I am currently working for X company(US) offshore office location in INDIA. I received Approved I797B form from my employer (FEDEX). (AD/CSC/RQ)
    I have 2 questions, Please advice -

    1. I was informed the earliest someone can appear for stamping in INDIA is 90 days before the start date on the approved petition. Can this be understood as July 1st? or should i literally count 90 days on my fingers?. In that case is it July 3rd? Has anyone appeared on 1st Of July without any problem.

    2. Employer provided with checklist of docs for the stamping - i797, copy of i129 and offer letter. (no client letter since its intra-company transfer and FTE)
Can the offer letter/employment verification letter be a print out on the company letter head? or should it be signed personally by the employer and sent to INDIA via post.
Usually offer letters are electronically signed by CEO. Should i carry a personally signed copy or will a color print of the same be fine?

    Please share your responses.

    Thank you!
