H1B VISA extension and transfer

Hi,

My H1B visa will expire by end of this September 2013. I am currently working with company A. My eligibility in US can be extended up to three years.
Is it possible to apply for VISA extension through company A and transfer H1B to company B in parallel?
My worry is how new H1B VISA extension date going to be if I change job

Neither your current H1 Extension nor New Company Transfer are 2 seperate applications that will be sent to USCIS. So They can be applied in parallel. Once you see the decision of either cases, can decide on your move !
