My wife was earlier working on H1b. She then got a renewal (with new I94) upto Dec 2014.
Couple months later, she wanted to take a break for 1 year from work.
Hence, we applied for change of status from H1B to L2 (I am on L1) and got it approved.
Now, she wants to get back to work using the same H1B. No changes to employer or job role or location.
1. What is the process to switch back from L2 to H1B? Is the same H1 petition still valid? Is there a need to file for a fresh cap exempt petition?
2. Should she get a stamping? If so, should she have to travel to home country?
