H1B Transfer in process..can I change employer?

My I-94 is valid till sep-16-2013.

On march-6-2013 I filed for h1b transfer from company-A to company-B and started working with company-B after I got the receipt notice.

My transfer is filed under normal process and till now there are no updates.

questions:

1. can I join another employer and file for transfer & extension?

You can join another employer say C after they file their petition. (Based on receipt)
