H4 extension while h1b is in process

Hello sir,

My H4 visa is going to expire on 3 sept 2013, i have applied for regular h1b visa for 2014 year, my husband is going to apply for extension in premium, i have a big tension that will this extension process will affect my h1b visa approval process or not, my employer said that for cos, my visa should be valid till october, which is not, as they are valid till september only, so please advice what will be happen in my case, will i get H1B approval this year or not

If your I-94 is also expiring on 3rd Sept 2013, your COS would be valid only if your H4 extension is also approved on the basis of yoru spouse's H1 extension approval. Otherwise, you can travel out of US and re enter back after getting H1 stamped in the passport.
