gap after stamping

I got my H1B stamped in march 2005. then my employer didny called me to US and send me on some unofficial training to somewhere in india only. now next month I have to leave for US ..will this 6-7 month gap will give some impact on my visa or job. Or immigration officer will ask some questions about this.

If you anticipate a question in this regard from Immigration Officers in the US, the best is for you to carry a letter from the H1B employer about the reason for this delay ( this training).
