H1 and H4 stamping question
Hi,
I am on H1 in USA. Going to INDIA this august to get married. My fiancee is in INDIA and she does not have a passport yet. She needs a H4 stamping.
I have to go for my H1 stamping as well, I decided to go to US consulate in Hyderabad.
I have filled out my DS-160 form and in the form under the section "Is someone travelling with you?" I answered yes, and gave my fiancee name and relation as spouse. No other details of fiancee were asked. I submitted the form.
I then created a login and booked a slot on Sep 3rd 2013, but in that process i did not add any dependents. I tried to add my fiancee name as a dependent but it was asking for DS-160 and Passport numbers of fiancee, which we currently do not have. So, the appointment was created as an individual one just for me.
I do not see a way to update my dependent information, later after my fiancee gets the passport and we fill out her DS 160 can we not modify my appointment, so that we can go together.
I need some knowledge or help on how these things work.
