do i need original i 797 for h4 visa interview?

Hello
My husband is in US and I am going to apply for my H4 visa first time.
Do I require I-797 original or just the copy of it for H4 Visa interview?
Some says the copy will work but the call center people (US embassy) says that original I-797 is must.
Need guidance..

My spouse or his employer?
receipt number will be of I797 or I129..
