Fresh H1B Transfer to current employer

Hi all,

I m on currently on L1 valid till Mar'14 and I have an approved H1 for Oct 2013 from another employer. BUt now my current employer promised that GC filing process can be done for me . now I m confused If I can quit and join the new employer on Oct or to continue with the current employer because I m more interested in GC .
1) Can I transfer the new approved H1 (effective from oct'13) to the current employer ?
2) If yes, Whats the process ?
3) WIll I go out of status ?
4) Is it possible to do H1 Transfer without Paystubs ?(because i havent really started working for my new employer)

Please help ASAP.

2) If yes, Whats the process ? -- The current employer will have to file cap-exempt H1 petition before Oct 1
3) WIll I go out of status ? -- If no H1 is filed and you don't join the new employer, you will be out of status.
4) Is it possible to do H1 Transfer without Paystubs ?(because i havent really started working for my new employer) -- Yes, see above.

Please help ASAP.
