misspelled company name in I-797

Hello,

The company name in the I-797 document was misspelled- an alphabet missing. How can this be corrected? Can i go for stamping with this I-797 approval document?

I have already told my company about this... any suggestions what to do..?

Hi,
This is not a problem at all. You can go for the stamping with this approval. Its only a typing error and the stamping consulate will not give it much importance.

I was also in the same situation, but i got my visa stamped with the spelling mistake carried to the passport also. I told my company legal department and they say since i have all pertinent documents and it was a mistake by USCIS, i should be ok at the POE. Will there be any issue in POE?
