H1 Stamp Validity

I have a h1b visa stamp from my old employer(X) in india. X hasn't sent me onsite(USA) as expected since the stamp date,dec 2003 & Expiry-2006.I Changed my employer to Y.Y hasn't sent me onsite either.

In Between, i found an employer in US (Z) & have recd a H1b Petition starting from oct2005.

Questions:
1.Knowing the fact that i have never travelled on my H1b stamp from my X employer since dec 2006, Can i still use the Old stamping(valid till 2006 ) from X employer to travel to US?
2.Do i have to go for a fresh stamping at the Indian consulate?

Hi,
It is not advisable to travel on your old stamping because as luck may have it, if you are asked to produce the offer letter, job-confirmation letter, etc of the old employer to the Immigration Officers at the Port of Entry, you will be in trouble as you obviously not have it. Best is to take stamaping for the latest company.

I agree with wht u say.It's always safer to go for a new visa stamp.
