Forgot to return I94 but gave it to flight officials

Hi Everyone,

I left USA on last Friday but forgot to return my I94 to the correct authorities. After entering the flight 30 minutes prior to departure it struck my mind that i have to return I94 so i talked to flight officials if i can go back and return and they said it is not possible and instead they can return it for me and they took the I94 from my passport.

Now when i check the I94 online system it just shows only arrival record to US so what do you guys think i should do now?

I do not have the boarding pass of the flight. I am taking the same airlines while entering US may be i can ask them at that time??

Should i email any of the CBP officials about my situation? I have my I797 till March 30,2014 and left on 30 August, 2013 and will be returning on 30 September,2013. So everything is happening with in the approved dates.

I am just praying that flight officials gave the I94 to the correct authorities..

I think your flight official will take care of it. When i was returning, at the check-in my flight official took my I94. So i think you need not worry.
