query regarding embassy

i have taken appointment in delhi consulate for H1b on oct 6th.. since i am from south, will my apprearance for delhi consulate create any problem???
i haven't got any slot in chennai till nov 21th when i booked the slot and i need to report to my employer by nov 1st week.
how do i convince the officer???

Hi Sudha,
You can try your luck at new Delhi. But just go prepared to face a redirection. Just in case they decide that you should face the interview at Chennai, you will not be caught unawares. Your guess is as good as mine when it comes to what will convince the Visa Officer.
