H1B Transfer

Hello All

This is the first time i am posting on this forum. Hope someone has gone through a similar situation

- I am working for a company with H1B initiated in Oct 2012
- I have an offer from another company to join by Oct 14, 2013
- i have to travel to India for a couple of weeks in Dec 2013

My question is
1. Is there any travel restrictions after H1B transfer ?
2. If yes, how long should I wait ?
3. If my visa transfer is done through premium processing, would i still have the travel restrictions ?

Anticipating any response to clarify this issue.

I am not an expert, here are some thoughts which are my personal opinions:

A 1: If you could travel once the transfer is complete, that will be the best. Travelling while a transfer is initiated could be tricky.

What is the duration of this H1B visa from Oct 2012?
