    Hi,
If you are going on a visitor visa or are the sponsor for H4, the balance needs to be good. Its OK if the transactions are minimum, the balance needs to be good. Which Visa are you going for?

      Hi Veena,

How does the six month statement of a H1 applicant need to look like?
Is there any minimum amount, which needs to be there in the account?
Also do we need to get the statement till the latest date (say 3 or 4days earlier) of our appointment or is it ok if we get it 2 or 3weeks before?

      Thanks for your time,
      Amit

          Hi Amit,
If you are going for H1B stamping for the first time, not much weightage is given to the bank-balance except for the fact that it proves as a reference for the credit of your salary for your present job. You will only need to concentrate on the details about your US employer & your educational qualifications.
