H1 Transfer on Expiry

Hi ,

My H1 is expiring on 30th sep this month , my current employer will apply for extension .

but i am planing to change the employer next month.

can a new employer hire me when visa is expired and my extension is on process ?

The new employer can file the petition, but it will be a bridge petition. The result will depend on the result of the first (current employer's) petition. You will not be able to join the new employer until their petition gets approved with a new I-94.
