H1B Premium-Visa Stamping...

Hi,

I am planning to process my H1B application on a premium visa. I was told that there is an additional charge of $1000 and it takes 2 weeks time to get the approval of petetion.

My question is currently the visa appointment date is in February, in chennai consulate. So do i have to wait till February, even though my visa is processed in premium category or it can be stamped quickly?

Please let me know your suggestions.

Hi Sai,
Premium processing is available only for processing your H1B petition in the US and not your H1B Visa stamping. You have to take only the normal route.
