H1B extenstion from India

Hi,

I have visa valid till 31 Dec 2013. If my visa not get extended till that day, I have to return back India, So can I apply jobs in USA for Visa transfer and extension from India.
if yes , then for how long. In India I will not have my US pay stubs.
I have used only 8 month of visa.

Yes. You will be able to have the visa filed from India too. After 31st Dec 2013, you will have to find an employer who shall have file a fresh H1B petition (which will be cap exempt). You could do so upto 6 years from the time you cease to be on H1B status. i.e., If 31st Dec 2013 is your last day on H1B, you could revive your H1B till 31st Dec 2019.
