I am residing a US with my H1B visa recently I lost my mobile phone and now i am about to lodge a complaint (FIR) in police for the same, but I am afraid whether an FIR may affect or cause any changes to the Visa extension / transfer or my current status, please help.

If you are legally residing in US on a valid visa/I94 and maintaining valid status why would approaching the police about a lost phone affect you?
