Hi,
My H1-B is filed pending approval and I am planning to file my wife's H-4 extension myself. We are residing in California. I went through the instructions and it states that "Dependents filing Form I-539 for a change or extension of stay SEPARATELY from the principal's application, and whose principal's application is pending or approved, should file at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility" .
Even though it is stated pretty clearly, I would like to know if people in the same situation sent it to the USCIS Dallas Lockbox USPS/FEDEX address. I was looking at my I-797 receipt and it was sent to the California Service Center.
Any help appreciated.
