H1 to H4 and then H4 to H1

Hi,

I am currently in H1 and will be maxout next year. I dont have GC processed so I will be on H4 after my maxout. After an year am i eligible for new H1 again? or should i have to be out of US for an year to eligible for H1??

You have to be physically out of US for an entire year and only after that apply for H1 petition in order to be eligible for fresh H1.
