Am planning to take h1 visa intrvw in nov 2week prior to that I need to give my bio-metric.
You will need to bring: for BIO-METRIC:
•A passport valid for travel to the United States with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the United States (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions). If more than one person is included in your passport, each person desiring a visa must submit an application.
•Your DS-160 confirmation page
•Your appointment confirmation page
Considering the above bold case I have my passport valid until Jan-2017.i got approval(h1) upto sep,30-2016(intended period of stay) so in my case I don't have 6months beyond they mentioned...
is this rule changed?? or still on going??
please suggest TIA
