Hi,
I am currently on a H1B visa and I am getting married to my fiancee this December. While we were dating, my fiancee's visa was rejected twice as she was considered a threat to migrate to the US on a travel visa. Currently, she is working for an MNC in India and will not be applying for a dependent visa immediately as her job might entail working in the US for small bits of time. Meanwhile I want to apply for a green card next year and I have a lot of questions for which the answers are not immediately available:
Can I add her to my green card application after we are married even though she will not be in the US at that time? How different is the procedure from a regular green card application? If I apply under the EB1 category, does that affect how long the Green card processing will take? Will it take longer for her to be approved? Will she be able to travel to the states in the meantime?
