H1B Visa Expiration

Hello,

I received I-797B for my H1B application on October 2013 and I could see that the validity is from Oct 2013 to Oct 2015(2Yrs).

But now, I am planning to travel on May ,2014.

1)So if I make my Indented date of travel as May 2014 while filling my DS-160,When the visa is issued,will this be taken care and my Visa gets issued from May 2014 to May 2016?

Or will it be the same dates mentioned in the I-797?

2)Will there be any delay in processing the Visa if I go for the consulate interview in November/December Since my intended date of arrival is again after 5 months?

It will be according to the petition.

The 5 months will not make a difference. But the employer should provide a letter that the job still exists.
