  • H1B Transfer with Visa expirred

    Hi,

I got my H1B visa stamped in the year 2008 (Aug-Sep). However due to personal reasons i have not gone to US with H1B visa.

I got my H1B Visa stamped on 17 Jan 2008, but expired on 18 Sep 2010, I have never traveled US with H1B visa, but did traveled with my B1 visa during that time on Mar-2009.

I want to know is it possible to use my H1B visa, i am in India, can my my company still go for my H1B transfer.

    Hello, Nitin.

One can revive an H1B upto 6 years. So, if your employer files your petition it can get revived.

    Wishing you luck.

    Cheers,

        Hello, Dinesh.

You will get the LCA, it takes 3 odd weeks. What visa are you on currently?
