221g Yellow slip and hand written "we will contact you once review is finished"

Hi All,

Recently I have been to H1B stamping and the VO has given me a 221g yellow slip and have not asked for any documents... she just ticked the Other option and have hand written sayig that they will contact me once review is finished... I am the first candidate from this employer going for stamping in this consulate... so far all candidates who went for stamping in India and Canada have been successfully stamped without any issues

Please note that I was in USA in2005 and came back after 11 months... the employer has used that H1 and filed for the new one... I also have a 10 year visit visa

The VO has kept all the documents and returned the passports and said I will need to submit passports once they contact me

Can anyone suggest and guide on the above?

If you were last on H1 in 2006 I dont think that you can use that H1 as its been over 6 years. But keep this forum posted as to the outcome.

A status message of "Admin Processing" is very generic, but just means that your procedure is in the middle of processing. Normally, when processing is complete, that message will change.

Being impatient will not fetch much. There is no rule book that a particular status changes based on a particular action.

There is hardly any more meaning to these statuses then the words itself. You would just have to wait this period out till you hear from them.
