Change from dropbox option to regular interview
I am traveling to India with expired H1B and have to renew it. Completed the DS160, opted for the dropbox option for H1B renewal, I paid the $190 fee, received the MRV receipt number and also the dropbox confirmation letter.
I was carefully checking the dropbox requirements and found out that my visa expire more than 12 months ago.
I'd like to CANCEL the existing dropbox confirmation and would like to SCHEDULE a regular interview at the US consulate instead. How could I do that?
Do I need to start with a new DS160--->another payment....What is "unlocking a receipt"?
