Days on H1b - Need urgent help
Need help in days of stay on H1b.
I am on 2nd fresh H1b since May2011. After expiry of stamping, I applied for extension (I94 extension) in Oct12. And the extension was granted till Oct14. In the extension application paper, my employer erroneously counted my previous H1b stay (Sep2001 to Jan2004) and applied this as my last extension!! Due to this, I lost ~3.5years and I am left with ~3months of allowable stay after Oct14.
How can this be corrected to claim back the lost 3.5years?
I had physically stayed outside the United States from Jan2004 to May2011 and this is my fresh H1b.
