New H1 B Visa transfer within India

Hi,

I am working in India now and My H1B visa approved in Nov 2013, which was filed by my current company and I have not travelled to US, yet. The project, which I was working for the client, mentioned in H1B Visa petition stopped in between and now, Iam not working for that client. Now, Can I change the company and request for the H1B visa transfer to new company?. If yes, how much time it may take to get Visa transfer?

Yes, the new employer can file a cap-exempt petition for you. Processing time will be the same as any other petition.
