I am in US currently on H1B visa and my H1B visa is expiring in couple of months and am planning to get it renewed at New Delhi Consulate. Although I satisfy all the conditions for Interview waiver program, I have query about same petitioning employer condition - Due to corporate restructuring my employing entity has changed from ABC LLC to XYZ, Inc thereby also changing the employer EIN number. Note that this restructuring did NOT change my salary, duties, work location, job title or function.
My question is – can I make use of Visa interview waiver "Drop Box" program or do I need to appear for visa interview if employing entity has changed due to corporate restructuring.
