Which I94 to return ?

Hello,

I travelled to US in Sep 2011 with a visa valid till Nov 2011. My I-94 valid till the same date. I renewd my Visa and I got new I797 along with extended I94 attached to it. I returned to India in Nov 2013. While returning, in the airport, they took my original I94 (which was issued at POE in Sep 2011) but not the extended I94 which came along with extended I797.

So, do I need to return my extended I94 or not ?

One should return all I-94s in ones possession upon your exit.
