Hi All,
I am facing yet another challenge. i have found a new employer who can file a new petition when i am in india. my visa is stamped with previous employer valid till 2016.
The old employer has a policy to take back the workpermit/petition which they have filed on the last day of my employment as part of their clearance policy on resignation.
I am getting nervous if i will be asked for my last petition at POE along with the new one. Can a photo copy of the old petition suffice at POE? will there be issue?

No, Not at all, Have ur new approved petition, new employment offer letter, Employment letter and LCA.

You can very well travel as you have valid h1 visa stamped on your passport even though that has ur old employer name on it.
