Maiden Name to Married Name
Hello Immihelp-
My wife and I are on H1b. My wife came to US on H4 and applied for a H1b and is approved and is working for a company A.
She has her maiden name on her SSN, H1b and Indian passport. I am applying for a reissue of my passport for 10 years. I would like to add spouse name in my passport and my name in her passport.
Her Marriage certificate still shows her Maiden Name.
I a little confused about the approach that needs to be taken:-
1) Should I go with her passport change first
2) Do i need to apply for a change on her H1b petition.
3) How do I go about her SSN?
4) After above steps are then can I add her name in my passport.
Can you please let me know if these are the right steps and any suggestions?
