Please Advise: New H1b with current H1b case in Administartive processing

Hi All,

Last year I got any offer from US based company and they applied for H1b. Currently it is under 221(g) - Administrative processing.

But my current employer is also willing to apply H1B for next year (2015) .

So can I go for new H1B petition (next year) even if my current H1b is in pending state? (Or) do my current case has to be closed if I have to for new H1B? Please advise.
